Floatation Circuit Upgrades For Fluorspar Project.
Reducing material losses and increasing efficiency of flotation circuit
The existing manual level control in plant’s flotation cells were not capable of providing adequate process control. Additionally, operating this manual system, was very time and labour intensive, resulting in poor production.
Halyard developed a pinch valve automated level control system that could easily be retrofitted to the cells with minimal modifications and process interruptions.
Halyard’s novel design saved the client from having to make major modifications to their flotation circuit and resulted in a reduction in material losses, increased flotation efficiency, and the freed up approximately 2,700 hours of the operators’ time annually.
