Diamond Sorter Replacement in Northwest Territories, Canada.

Halyard completed the detailed design and tie-in planning for the integration of two TOMRA COM 300 XRT diamond sorting machines at the client’s mine located in the Northwest Territories, Canada. The two TOMRA machines replaced a single-existing Ultrasort machine in the recovery plant for the purposes of recovering small diamonds.

Halyard provided multidisciplinary engineering services as well as oversight of supply and installation, and on-site commissioning support services.

The successful installation and commissioning of the Ore Sorters has led to improved diamond recoveries and reliability in the plant.
