Lalor Mine Bulk Sample Plant.

Hudbay had an immediate need for a bulk sample plant at their Lalor site in northern Manitoba. To meet a very tight timeline, Halyard designed the sample plant to be modular, completely transportable on a flatbed truck, and, where practical, we sourced refurbished mechanical components.

The sample plant, complete with feed bin, conveyors, splitters, crushers, and PLC control system were designed, supplied, constructed, and trial assembled in 65 calendar days. Upon factory acceptance, the plant was shipped to Hudbay’s Lalor site where Halyard assisted with the commissioning and training of operators for a successful start-up.
