New Afton
Sample Tower Relocation.

New Gold’s New Afton Mine in BC required a metallurgical accounting method for measuring head grades from tolled ore received at the site from other entities. For this project, New Gold purchased a used sample tower that Halyard built and supplied to the Lalor mine in 2016.

Halyard provided a turnkey solution to refurbish and upgrade the plant and supply additional materials handling equipment. This plant was then integrated into the New Afton circuit from a process and control perspective.

Thereafter Halyard commissioned the plant and provided on site training to the operators.
